Holy Jeff Bridges! I saw Iron Man last night which was absolutely awesome. Not the biggest comic book turned movie fan, but they definitely hit this one out of the park. By "they" I mean Jon Favreau... who knew he could direct such a blockbuster?Jeff Bridges looked like he aged about 20 years in this film, added about 20 pounds, and where did his hair go? Did anyone else notice that cameo by Tom Morello playing one of the insurgents? For those of you who don't know who he is, he is the amazing guitar player from Rage Against The Machine... wah wah chicka wah wah chicka-chicka-chicka.... that Tom Morello. Guitar Hero 3, anyone? Anyway, I loved Gwyneth Paltrow as Penny, so glad to see her back acting and all. Robert Downey Jr. was the perfect cast for Tony Stark... rich sarcastic playboy with that humorous condescending undertone. Go see it if you haven't yet!!!
As for other comic book turned movie movies, I cannot WAIT to see the new Batman: The Dark Knight! I lust for Christian Bale, and can't wait to see how creepy Heath Legder is as The Joker.
