I wish that I lived in a house so I could have a ceiling fan in my room and be able to do hardwire installations for lighting. Alas, I do not, so I do what I can to not drive myself crazy, and I live with the swag option for my chandelier. I am still waiting for the white fabric cord cover from Pottery Barn; it will at least mask the ugly chain & cord. It is incredible how "in the dark" I was about proper lighting, literally...I can actually see objects in my room now! Although I took a horrible picture and there is only a snippet of my new headboard, which I planned on painting white, after doing a temporary placement to see how it fits, I believe the dark mahogany is growing on me, making me want all new furniture in that color. What to do?!
